Equine Portraiture

    Like most girls, Claire grew up absolutely horse crazy. At the age of 12 I was honored to be selected to ride for a Arabian Horse Ranch in Cibolo Texas. Twenty Seven years later, I have expanded my barn to Four Beautiful Purebred Arabians and a Loving and Dedicated Half Arabian. It was natural that eventually my two greatest loves, horses and photography, would come together.

Regardless of breed, the Equine itself is a living breathing work of art. Each breed, each discipline requires a particular angle and a special approach. While I love taking portraits of the Majesty of the Horse in itself, my favorite aspect of Equine Photographer is bring out the relationship between horse and owner, horse and handler. That special bond that only you and your special equine feel between each other.
